Email shows fake Trump electors in Georgia told to conduct plan in ‘secrecy’

A Trump campaign staffer instructed a group of Republicans in Georgia who were planning to cast Electoral College votes for former President Trump to conduct the plan in “complete secrecy,” according to an email obtained by media outlets.

 

The Washington Post and CNN reported Monday evening that the email, written by Trump campaign Georgia operations director Robert Sinners, instructed the fake electors to tell security at the state capitol that they had appointments with two state senators.

“Your duties are imperative to ensure the end result — a win in Georgia for President Trump — but will be hampered unless we have complete secrecy and discretion,” Sinners wrote.

Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said in January that the Department of Justice was investigating fake electors that supported Trump.

he won neither the popular nor the electoral vote...in fact it wasn't even close and in spite of delusional trumpers , 60+ court cases, trumps own DOJ, numerous recounts done by republicans that is a fact....trumpers sure love to put on those tin foil hats , drink the kool aide and without a shred of evidence keep singing that same tired old song....really pitiful how many so called americans support an attempted coup and refuse to either put up or shut up re the "steal".....if trumpers had any evidence they would have laid it on the table well over a year ago.

How do we know the election wasn't stolen?

 

Trump is famously litigious.  Had there been a shred of evidence, anything that wouldn't be laughed out of court, that the election result was not legitimate his lawyers would have taken it to every court in every jurisdiction where it might have had a chance.  That didn't happen.

 

The election result is legitimate.

he tried his best to find some judge that HE appointed to rule in his favor....None of them did and I would bet that they were indeed laughing behind his back...his own DOJ headed by loyal lapdog Barr said there was NO credible evidence of any fraud that would impact the outcome..trump is on tape trying to bully the republican official in Georgia to "find him another 11 k votes".......then he lined up a team of total crazies to come up with all kinds of absurd conspiracy theories re voting machines ....there were counts and recounts done over and over and NOT ONE of them showed any significant difference in the vote count..when all that failed he tried to engineer a coup to overthrow the election results..and yet here we are over a year later with delusional trumpers refusing to believe what is as clear as it can be:  Trump LOST...if he were half the man that Hillary is he would admit it like she did when she lost and step asisde like she did with class and in support of the country.......but instead the grifter con man continues to pass out the kool aide and line his pocket with $$ from people who worship at the altar of one of the biggest con men ever to live...how sad

For now. But they have solid plans for a successful repeat. The republican party is literally an autocratic, anti democracy, minority rule party now. They know they're not even close to having majority support. But power is everything to them and they care not how that they grab it. Once you lose democracy, it's almost impossible to get it back.

When Mike Pence told Trump he wasn’t going to play along and take part in his coup,  Trump turned on him.

"'No, no, no!' Trump shouted, 'You don't understand, Mike. You can do this. I don't want to be your friend anymore if you don't do this.'"

 

I can picture Trump in his Superman pajamas throwing himself on the floor, in a temper tantrum, kicking and screaming at Pence like some spoiled 3 year old who doesn’t want to go to bed at bedtime.

Trump was an obviously ignorant bull-in-a-china-shop incompetent.  He moved the world in a less stable, more autocracy friendly direction, but I don't see that as a good thing.

 

Some people find him entertaining, but I don't understand why.

Trump has severe mental problems and would not accept the fact he lost by 8 million votes. Even after the Justice Department, Homeland Security, Election Cyber Security, White House Lawyers, 60 lawsuits that were laughed out of court and the Secretary of State in all 50 States confirmed the results as legitimate. 
YOU are confused because you believe Trump and right wing media.
 

Many Republicans are going along with the big lie as an excuse to draft new voter suppression laws and stack State election offices with unethical immoral stooges willing to throw out the results in the next election.

He’s referring to a list of bogus election frauds drafted by Rudy Giuliani after Trump lost. 
Rudy concocted a bizarre list of fraud…. 10,000 people here voted twice, machine switched the votes there, underage voters, illegal aliens voted, suitcase stuffed with ballots, thousands of dead people voted for Biden…boatload of fake ballots from China were counted. 
Then Rudy distributed the bogus list to the usual suspects in the right wing echo chamber, Fox, Hannity, Tucker etc, Breitbart, OAN, NewsMax, Ben Shapiro, Candice Owens, etc. 
 

Rudy’s law license was suspended for making demonstrably false and misleading statements to the courts and public at large.
