A Modern Double Bed?

Featured Replies

Hello Furniture specialist

what would you call such a thing and do they have something like this in Thailand?

I found this here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004317106092.html

It just came up as advertisement one day and I clicked on it.

I don't think that "bed" is what I want, but I like the idea of something different which is not just an ordinary bed.

Most of us have a small table left and right. Maybe something like above is a kind of alternative with bookshelf build in, drawers, light, whatever.

Where would I be able to find a bed which is not an ordinary bed in Thailand?

A pig ugly contraption, great only for the visually impaired I should think. My opinion to one side I have seen such things in Thailand and often wondered who would buy them. Now I know - you ????

I always fancied water beds but have never bought one here,i think you could even

get away with not heating it here and it would be cool(temperature wise) in the summer.

I like the ocean motion  a nice girl and some nice smelling oil and you can have

a real slip and slide.

Ok, so where did you see something like this in Thailand?

I agree that thing in the picture is ugly. But I like the concept that is in not just a frame with a headboard and a mattress.

I actually had one in a Korean hotel, I had a Korean GF at the time, she got "seasick". She didn't like the way the "standing waves" pushed her bum up (if felt pretty darn good to me) :whistling:

We actually had to change rooms (company got a refund on the hotel bill).

Google "smart bed" or "multifunctional bed" and you see many similar to the OP, and yes they're available in Thailand.

Last week I was in Phitsanulok Central Plaza and some company had one on display on the ground floor area. It was similar but without VDU. Before you ask no I don't live there  fortunately.

I do live in P'lok, and would never want such a disgusting thing. A bed is for two things, kipping and shagging.

Oh yeh, breakfast next morning.

I don't know if you could find them in Thailand, but as far as what I would call it? A pimp lounger. Complete with voyeur seats.

I like the girl dream, ahhhh, but having had a water bed (a million years ago), I don't recommend them. Any little movement by how many are in the bed causes your muscles to relax and contract all thru the night, not a great nights sleep.

And, when you have very young kids and you're filling the bed while doing something else they tend to have fun jumping on the bed.

Greeted by a youngen crying 'water!'. Better than onother time when the other boy (only happens with boys) cried 'FIRE!'.

I never had the problem of not sleeping because of movement, you just go up and down

a little bit and that actually relaxes me.

You can also get fully stabilized waterbeds, hardly any movement.

No more ocean motion but where is the fun in that?
