that's a nationalistic statement. A poor one, in face of political defeat at coming elections.

It's not the first time he has used that .

According to the prime minister, the Thai government has been working with foreign governments in an effort to promote industrial development and strengthen the nation’s industrial base.

He also defended the government’s borrowing, arguing that the loans were essential to stimulate spending and drive economic growth in the kingdom.

Translated: "Signed up to shonky trade deals, in return for loans to buy jets and weapons".

Priority will also be given to issues concerning the country’s public health system

Wait a minute!? Is he saying Anutin didn't do a stellar job during his tenure? I can take a lot, but now I'm going to lose it...

Awaiting the revolution.......it's looming large.

Doubt it, apathy reigns.

I think you're right.

Marcos Jnr. recently won in the Phillippines on little more than just promising "unity" (whatever that is, and however that is measured).

He unites us all in our desire for him and his cronies to step down and retire.

Speak for yourself.

I am not voting for him but he's not been as bad as many other PM I've experienced, esp Toxsin, Big Jew, Barharn, Yingluck. Not as good as Chuan Leekpai but.

There are too many resentment at play in the government. The people in govt. have to start loving each other for the good of the people.

The only way that will do him any good is if ALL the opposition parties are eliminated one way or another.

I imagine that is his definition of an election campaign!

In the midst of pressing economic crises, health issues, and global events, Thais have been urged to unite and aid the nation’s progress.

I agree totally, vote the government out.
