Lazada - ordered a fitbit watch and received plastic items in an envelope ?

I ordered this watch from Lazada 

 

 

 

 

I got this instead,  3 plastic items in an envelope.  

 

Anyone else had similar issues ?  able to get their money back ?

Not the same but you will see a similar topic where an empty envelope was received.????

 

My advice to anyone now is VIDEO YOU OPENING THE PACKAGE.

Lazada has a very effective return system (even with my empty package, eventually).

 

Take photos of what you received. As above it never hurts to video you opening the package.

 

Click on "Return" on your order.

 

Follow the instructions.

sorry for the name confusion, my wife bought a MI Band 6 for 1085 Baht and the name of the store is WEMALL .... as @Crossysays Lazada is fast on the refunding/returning policies never had a problem with them but did had a problem with Shopee that took me 5 month to recuperate 1,200 baht

I have used Lazada for several purchases, the last one being a G-Shock watch. Never had a problem.

I did order an exercise bench which arrived with a piece missing. Contacted Lazada and I had the missing piece the next day.

You beat me to it.  Ordering a no brand, for a vendor who hasn't even sold any is not the best idea.

 

Name brand from authorized vendor or reseller, LAZ Mall or 'Flagship' store.

Should be an easy refund.  Always make a vid of package opening to protect yourself.

As OneMoreFarang has said - check the details of the seller to be sure they are legit.  

I have been caught twice like you have - buying an item - and having junk sent to me.

Lazada will give you your money back once they do their checks. If payment has been made with CC they say it can take 1 month for refund to be processed - but my experience was less than 1 week on both occasions.

Some scammers go to a lot of trouble setting up their ‘Lazada store’ - but you normally find that their items ‘for sale’ are cut and pasted from reputable stores!

Lazada need to be made aware of this ASAP so they can investigate and potential shut down this seller so others don't fall into the same trap.

 

The same watch is available on Lazada from the official Fitbit LazMall seller for 7,690 baht.

That would suggest that a price of 4,990 baht is a bit too good to be true.

 

Good luck for a full refund from Lazada.

I agree. And there must be thousands of similar bad sellers.

I buy all the time things from Lazada and I never had an empty box or the wrong item.

But whenever I search for something I dismiss all the entries with too good to be true prices and sellers with no or bad rating, etc.

In most cases there are sellers with good online reputation and several sales of that product. I select those even if they are not the cheapest.

I bought a Razer gaming mouse (good for CAD) worth over 1,200 Baht and received a cheap and taty keyboard and mouse worth 384 Baht.

I now take a look at the seller's store.

If they don't have other items for sale I don't buy from them.

Yes,  learn by mistakes,  I have ordered some stuff today,  always checking the stores from now on and the reviews before buying.

 

Lazada are processing my refund, some good news.

If its bought by Lazada: Click on "return", the Provider have 5 Days to send you a  Barcode with adress. Drop off then by Kerry or ThaiPost. Keep the Slip as long until Money refundet!

That's a 8k baht watch. 

 

You're asking for trouble, the seller has no star ratings and he's selling it dirt cheap. 

 

I don't buy anything from Lazada unless it has 4 stars up. 

 

 

Lessons learned mate, you're lucky it's not a lot of money.

Look at the sellers profile and how long they have been on Lazada, also look at their store, and other reviews on other products...

Yes correct, however, they are getting smarter by putting bogis reviews and ratings into their page.

Simply return to Lazada as the "product was not as advertised". Once returned and inspected at every time , once returned using their return service, I received full refunds. Do it promptly though as there is a time limit for returns of a few days

COD shopee is not a guarantee either .....   you can't open the package until you handed over the cash, hence, it is still an issue.

To review you need to be logged on, I'd say you could get a few of your friends to fake a review.

correct .... I mean if you order a toaster and a tiny package turns up then sure you just don't accept. 

I have had a few items that were either wrong color or one didn't work and because I didn't request the return within 3 days ( for deposit into lazada wallet ) then it's a real task to get your money back imo ....  at first the seller didn't agree to refund but after 10 video's Lazada accepted the refund, then they wanted my bank details,  which I am very reluctant to give any company especially in Thailand ......   hence,   I just didn't bother chasing it up anymore .... so 2 or 3 items I just wore the loss ....

They asked me to return the soap to the seller!!

Then they want  a copy of my bankbook and  passport  which I refused to supply. Since I paid with my Credit Card. The case is still pending.

Very strange that they want to transfer the refund to your bank account. Every time I have had a refund they just put it back on my credit card within a few days.
