Daily News Thai Caption: Attack by delivery men

Daily News reported on an alarming incident in Thailand yesterday after a woman ordered papaya salad and BBQ chicken from her usual stall and had it delivered by a delivery rider.

Thongkham,48, a dealer in second hand goods, was at his desk when the rider arrived to deliver the food to his wife Siriporn.

An argument developed in which the rider said he had had his time wasted because the address was not correct.

Siriporn said she ordered from the shop regularly and always got her food delivered with no problems.

The rider left and came back with four men who were not in the dress of the delivery company.

They approached and threatened Thongkham who drew a gun.

They left picking up a tonic bottle as they did and throwing it at his car.

The scary incident is being reported to police with CCTV footage as evidence.

The wife said that she wouldn't be getting any more deliveries - she'd be walking to the som tam stall herself next time.

The incident happened in Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya province, central Thailand.

Brilliant idea. A bit of walking is good exercise

This delivery thing is really going too far.

Just another incident that happens around some Thai men, lucky he had a gun or it would be the usual 4 on to 1.

I'm far more interested in what natural disaster befell the place that left it looking like that.

Remember the days when you would ask for directions and a Thai would just point somewhere.   No clue if close, far, my Thai was much worse back then, and I would simply go off in likely the wrong direction.

Fast-forward to 2022..............get friends, get gun........................you point wrong way!!!!!  lol

Always steer clear of men in dresses.........

Not surprised if we slowly get to Philippines in terms of robberies, criminals, needing more armed guards at various places, if economy keeps going for the poor class like this much longer.
