Looking for an airconditioned place, reasonably priced, preferably on the dark side or otherwise easily accessible from Sukhumvit road.

Yep, I bought a lifetime membership in 2011 for around 14k baht. 

 

I'm not sure if Tony is still with us, I heard some bad things. 

 

I see his house is for sale.

Seens as no one has answered your questionn, i will.

 

Be hard pressed to beat Muscle factory onn Pratumnak, might be a bit hot for some.

I guess it is, but I work out almost every day (including during heavy traffic times such as weekends, long holidays etc) and prefer something closer.
