I fail to see how these actions can be at all divisive. Reasonable people should have an open mind and wait for the outcome. People looking for the next conspiracy are losing their heads.

This FBI raid has never been tried on a former President, particularly one that still has the support of close to half the country (at a minimum). That support wants to know what is going on and why. The sooner it's all sorted the better.

Eric might not  be all that bright but he wouldn't lie against his own interests. If Eric admits they have some documents then we should believe he's not just trolling the FBI. He said negotiations between daddy's lawyer and the FBI were ongoing.

 

Should the FBI release that evidence before a trial?

 

I do agree that I'd also like to this this resolved asap, regardless of the outcome. I just don't think we're going to see that due to normal legal process.

It's sometimes useful to  get a less partisan  view of recent events and look at the Mar a lago raid and its broader implications for the USA.

There is nothing to celebrate when an ex president  gets raided whether the raid transpires to be justified or not- its a disaster - whoever is the ex president  in question and as outlined in the article- A dangerous  moment in American history

Obviously it is sad that this happens. But IMHO it would be a lot worse if it wouldn't happen. Imagine Trump getting elected again (or maybe not even legally elected) and he knows he can do anything and nothing will happen. That is scary, very scary.

Garland said the Justice Department filed a motion requesting the Trump warrant and property receipt be unsealed. So the court will decide.

 

It seems that the DOJ wants to make sure it does everything by the book.

Yes Trump could have made the details of the warrant public himself, now Garland is asking the court to release them publicly, Trump has until Friday to object.
