Trash tourists are returning while the expected high rollers aren't yet getting the same headline levels.

Kuwaits; come on now, they ARE high rollers, everyone of them is guaranteed RICH.

"They thought this is a desert They thought this is a desert ????"

Well, I've been to Soi 9 & Beach Rd in Jomtien; in all fairness, it is at least a desert lookalike in many ways.

It must be different in the middle east as most men go to Pattaya to chase girls, but these guys from the middle east go to Pattaya and chase each other.

he had to be different he managed to catch a stationary pickup, or maybe he thought the pick-up was in Colorado and he didn't need to avoid it

According to reports, the Kuwaiti man suffered a serious head injury and scrapes and did not provide his name to the police who arrived later and tried to initially refuse medical treatment. His four foreign friends who were with him only shouted incomprehensibly at rescue workers, police, and reporters, and refused to tell officers which bike they rode, so the Pattaya police officers decided to impound all five bikes.

Deportations going to stop them from repeat offences.

Why didn't they "impound " the rider as well.

What are the consequences of a hired motorcycle getting impounded .

Will the person who hired it be liable for every day it is locked up ?

I hope the shop has some sort of guarantee , though I doubt it .

Hope the pick up owner gets compensated , doubt that either.

Agree with everything you say.

Normally any damage to the bikes will be the responsibility of the renter, also he will have to pay the rent on the bike until its returned.

Assuming that is the owner took a copy of their passports which is normal.

How many were apprehended,  or blood tested for amphetamines?

These guys will get off even if the kill someone

In the article it did mention that four men were taken in for questions at the police station.

"The four friends of the injured man were detained and taken to a local police station for further questioning, but as of press time were continuing to be uncooperative."
