Man gets into bed with woman after she forgot to lock her room - feisty lady kicked him and grabbed a knife

Daily News reported on an alarming incident in the downtown area of Udon Thani in the north east of Thailand. 

 

The media reported that it involved an attractive woman who they called by the fictitious name of "Suay" (that means pretty).

 

Suay, 20, told Pol Lt Akkarit  Yensawat that she was asleep in a rented room on Udon Dusadee road that she rented with her boyfriend.

 

He was out at work.

 

She had forgotten to lock the room.

 

A tall thin man wearing only a pair of black shorts aged about 20-25 who looked like a drug addict entered the room and got into bed with her.

She awoke and managed to kick him out of the bed seconds after he tried to molest her.

 

She then grabbed a kitchen knife and chased him out of the room before calling her boyfriend and asking the owner of the room to take her to the police.

 

On returning to the room she demanded that they move out immediately fearing a further attack. She may not be so lucky next time, she said. 

 

She warned ladies to always lock their doors. 

 

Police are studying CCTV to try and find the man who tried to molest the woman.

Something similar happened to me last week in Rangsit. I visited a teenage student Chinese girl, and when we're about to sleep, a Chinese man entered her apartment and came into her bedroom. Supposedly to assault her.

 

When he saw me in her bed he turned around and left. She had given him her passcode to the door previously when she needed help with something. She refused to go to the police about it.

 

I changed her passcode, provided her with some self defense weapons and that's it. The guy apologized to her said he was too drunk.

This is not an isolated incident in Thailand. The RTP reported 2,535 cases in 2017 with 53% of victims assaulted by family members or friends. When we look at other countries this seems rather excessive, for example 135,666 assaults in the US in the same year.

I couldn't believe that in conservative Britain there were 70,330 assaults in 2021. So, while Thailand has a problem, Britain has a pandemic of assaults.

This is no laughing matter. Women do need to lock doors but more than that, men need to keep it in their pants.

So a woman at 3 am drunk amoungst drunks in an area designated to interact with opposite sex individuals in the hopes of getting lucky with each other gets 200,000 for a butt squeeze...

  Sleeping in your own bed  when someone breaks and enters your home, climbs into bed with you and fully molests with intent to rape:  this has got to be worth 10,000,000.

Seriously, if anyone of the two deserves financial reparation it's this girl...not the drunk party going woman.
