Patong – The Tourism and Sports Minister visited Bangla Road in Patong where staffers and operators are asking for 4:00 A.M. entertainment venue closing times.

 

Mr. Phiphat told the gathered Phuket media including The Phuket Express, “For the 4:00 A.M. closing time extension it is about a current law which will take time to consider. The proposal will be introduced in a meeting of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) next month.”

 

“We also want to know what foreign tourists think about the closing time extension. However, many research results show that the best time for income from entertainment venues is from 1:00 A.M. to 3:00 A.M.. This income is also from other smaller operators and sellers.”

And less so at earlier times?
If places are open until 4am people go out later?

They don't drink from 6pm until 4am...
