AN is going down the drain
It is what it is. As a forum it's always going to have people with differing opinions. The AI articles annoy me at times, but I'm not paying a subscription so it's fine. The US politics in so many non political threads puts me off too, but these threads are not generally asking for advice or from people wanting to learn something. On the threads where people genuinely have a question, I find members are very friendly and helpful. -

Crime Teenage Trouble: Homemade Explosions at Udon Thani Hospital
Thirteen teenagers were taken into custody after creating chaos outside Chai Wan Hospital in Udon Thani by setting off homemade bombs. The incident involved eight explosions, causing alarm among patients and staff. The teens, captured by local police, confessed to learning bomb-making from a YouTube channel. Police Colonel Ratphonchai Pensongkhram addressed the incident, calling in the teens’ parents for a discussion. The teenagers admitted the act was intended to intimidate a rival group due to ongoing conflicts. Notably, the group was led by a 17-year-old related to a former district mayor. Most of the teens attend local schools, with ten in secondary and three in primary education. Colonel Ratphonchai checked the teenagers' academic engagement, questioning one about his grade and teacher, to which he replied, “I’m in Grade 7, but I don’t know my teacher.” During a basic maths check, a teenager failed to solve “What is 4 times 5?” by answering “25.” Colonel Ratphonchai pointed out the consequences of skipping school, emphasising the importance of education. The police sternly warned the teens and their guardians against repeating such actions. Both parents and children promised compliance, acknowledging that any future disturbances would lead to legal repercussions, underscoring accountability irrespective of age.
