to be the political leader most above social conflicts. One of the reasons indicated in the survey was that Anutin had no history of conflict with anyone, speaks little, and did not blame those who scolded at him.

Speak little is a quality .

He was also kind to local residents, very skilled, wealthy, and liked rich people

Hmm ... anyway , he is quite a progressive leader ... Progress is what is needed in a regressive society ...

If I had a vote I would absolutely vote for him..

The Pro-Cannabis position is proof that he is willing to to take a progressive approach to social issues. He was/is willing to effectively defend that position, which has been proven to be a popular one. He didn't cut and run.

He's not above social conflicts with expats as he's made detrimental and insulting comments about them in the press. He was also instrumental in introducing the backdated, corrupt and compulsory health scheme for one class of visa holder.

Of course, expats aren't voting participants.

Explain this, polling companies:

In a NIDA poll of 2000 eligible voters, published Sunday in a Bangkok newspaper, Anutin was rated 9th for the PM's job at 2.15%.

Pita Limjaroenrat, the Move Forward Party leader, was ranked first at 20.4%.

The guy who seems to love Chinaland and Chinese more than Thailand and Thais? The one who hates farangs, who ordinary Thais cleaning hotel rooms, cooking meals, doing hotel registrations LIKE, at least compared to the super-ขี้เหนียว and love-to-shove and push Chinese, and the haughty and high-and-mighty Indians. Why is Thailand so rich in so many things, and so poverty-stricken when it comes to right-thinking politicians!

Being abnormally rich is the only credential need to become PM in Thailand!

That's probably true, but one thing a PM in Thailand does not need is a high IQ, the present unelected PM being a soldier is proof of that.

But there is a scary side to it. When I heard him speak at the FCCT earlier this year defending his decriminalization crusade, he slipped in some nasty allusions to foreigners which sounded like his real attitude. He totally rejected the idea of a stoner culture of foreigners. He is a complicated character, and not easy to read. But he is not our friend.

Who took this poll?

What are their credentials?

What party affiliations do they have?

How much were they paid?

Does anyone believe the results?

He was a good-hearted person who had a contribution to many lives and potentially solved the Covid-19 crisis and improved the public health system. He was also kind to local residents, very skilled, wealthy, and liked rich people.”

Was that a misquote? Was that supposed to say he is well liked by rich people, as he protects their status with every nanogram of his being?

35.8% is hardly an outstanding result considering the questions asked have not been listed nor are the overall voting results known.
