Looking at the logarithmic plot (lower graph) their background cases have been rising throughout the panicdemic they have supposedly had under control. Possibly because, as I understand it, the Chinese only use Sinovac which is not very effective and not the newer MRNA vaccines produced outside china.

You might want to call. It's a pleasant trip if you pass through Maha Sarakham or Yasothon. 1

You truly believe that the vaccines were never tested? So I take it your an Anti-vaxxer and a conspiracy theorist. Vaccines were never made to prevent transmission. That is not how a vaccine works. https://fullfact.org/health/coronavirus-vaccine-pfizer-transmission-test/ A spokesperson from Pfizer told Full Fact by email: “The primary endpoints of our Covid-19 vaccine study were to evaluate the efficacy of the vaccine candidate in preventing Covid-19 disease in participants who had not been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus before they received the vaccine […]The trials were not designed to evaluate the vaccine’s effectiveness against transmission of SARS-CoV-2.” https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/faq.html Safety Are COVID-19 vaccines safe even though the vaccines were developed rapidly? Although COVID-19 vaccines were developed quickly, research and development on vaccines like these have been underway for decades. All vaccine development steps were taken to ensure COVID-19 vaccine safety and effectiveness, including: Clinical Trials – All vaccines in the United States must go through three phases of clinical trials to ensure they are safe and effective. The phases overlapped to speed up the process, but all phases were completed. Authorization or Approval – Before vaccines are available to people, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reviews data from clinical trials. FDA has determined COVID-19 vaccines meet FDA’s standards and has granted those vaccines Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) or full FDA approval. Tracking Safety Using Vaccine Monitoring Systems – Like every other vaccine approved for use in the United States, COVID-19 vaccines continue to be monitored for safety and effectiveness. Hundreds of millions of people in the United States have safely received COVID-19 vaccines. CDC and FDA continue to provide updated information on the safety of U.S. authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccines using data from several monitoring systems. 2 1

Bim Smith Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Unvaxxed and never had it. Trip to the UK for seven weeks when infections were at the highest in April still never had even a sniffle. I have friends in Thailand all vaxxed and all bar one got it after vaccination. A little strange for a vaccine with such a high efficacy. 2

Popular Post BKKBike09 Posted November 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 14, 2022 5 hours ago, ThailandRyan said: Vaccines were never made to prevent transmission. That is not how a vaccine works. Seriously? Vaccines, historically, were "never made to prevent transmission"?? "Since vaccines were introduced in the UK, diseases like smallpox, polio and tetanus that used to kill or disable millions of people are either gone or seen very rarely. Other diseases like measles and diphtheria have been reduced by up to 99.9% since their vaccines were introduced." https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/why-vaccination-is-safe-and-important/ So why have vaccines been so successful against smallpox, polio, tetanus etc etc? Er - because they both prevent infection AND transmission. Covid 'vaccines' are singularly ineffectual at preventing infection and transmission. Hence the efforts now in some official quarters to try and make out that vaccines are developed not to prevent infection, but to reduce severity of infection. That Covid 'vaccines' do seem to be doing a good job in reducing severity of infection in certain cohorts should not be understated. But to claim that 'vaccines were never made to prevent transmission' and 'that is not how a vaccine works' is plain wrong. 1 2

Stargeezr Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Not everyone is a sungod with good health and apparent strong immunities. Many people have health issues, and getting vaccinated may have saved their lives. If you need to get another booster, there are many red necks where I live in Alberta Canada who say they will not get a vaccine or wear a mask for any reason. Hence there should be lots of extra vaccines, Pfizer or Moderna available. I hope that COVID does not make any country lock down again. China is the exception. Has China ever not been on some sort of lock down. Good Luck everyone.
hotchilli Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Had two shots and two boosters, waiting to see what my local hospital/health service has arranged for the next round of local treatment. 5th is due now. 1 1
