Featured Replies

Trying to source the black inlay U shaped part in the attachment.

Does anybody know of who trades BMW second hand parts in Thailand, or even those I could ask to find out please?

I agree that Ebay will give you greatest choice - but the products being sold will not come from Thailand - most likely US or Europe - and you will pay exorbitant shipping charges (and duty).

When I am trying to source parts for my European cars I search Google - especially using a VPN to give me more 'local' access - and the find a company, or breaker yard that will ship internationally.

You can also try FaceBook marketplace here - but there is not usually much there.

In LOS, not many cars seem to be broken for parts - they all seem to get a Toyota engine put in them - and they live on!

There are hundreds of second hand part sellers in Bangkok alone specializing in BMW parts. I recommend searching for a FB group " *your car model*  Thailand" and posting there. I personally bought a whole M sport steering wheel from Chiang Khong Bagna (the junk yard).

Have you not thought of having it repaired and resprayed.

Another option is leather cover it as long as that doesn't interfere with switches.

This is not an option sorry, as it is I would be requesting professional to install i the replacement part if I can locate it.

Two weeks later and I'm really struggling here.

Of all of those I have tried they have none come back to me, any more leads on Bangkok BMW spare part dealers would be greatly appreciated.

EU will probably be your only choice.

Long shot but may help, there's a guy in Baan Suan, Sukhothai, who fixings BMW's there the only cars that you can see at his workshop, his next to the traffic lights just before the left turn to Baan Suan on road 12.

Don't know if his listed internet maybe google GPS Maps street view can show his place.

Hi there

I get my spares from BM Performance, needless to say they don't speak English. They have a lot of spares, perhaps the most in BKK. They're not that cheap either, sometimes the new part is not much more. Really, the best way would be to go over and visit them. Sorry about the small screen shots, they were from my line. They're over near Rangsit.

Cheers
