Still working. 5 baht processing fee. If you select card payment on the PEA app you are directed to CounterServicePay. I have an email from them (only last month) stating that they don't accept foreign cards. However, my UK debit and credit cards go through just fine!

They charge 8 baht service fee. https://www.easybills.in.th Scroll down and click on Pay Your Bill Now. Scroll down and click on Provincial Electricity Authority. Enter your "Contract Acct" This can be found at the top of your electricity bill as "C/A Ref. No.1" When you hit the "Next" button the amount of the bill will be displayed, enter C/C details to pay. They send a receipt by e-mail. I've been paying this way for over a year now with no problems. Thanks for the detailed instructions. Very helpful.
December 7, 20223 yr Sounds like a location issue with your Google stuff. Because the app pea smart plus is available in Thailand play store. If fails download apkpure (or use the website) to dl pea smart plus. It's available there too. The chat support feature - my experience was surprisingly good. Good English and answered my question. Otherwise pay at 7 or family

Go the the PEA office and tell them that you want to 'cut bank' for the monthly bill. You get a form that needs to be completed by your bank. So go to the bank and have it filled in and signed and go back to PEA. From that moment om payments go flawlessly (assuming a positive balance). Have fun.... I got tired of going to convenience stores to pay my electric bill. Often it didn't scan and I had to to another store. I took the same route you did, two trips to PEA office and one to bank, as you said. Been working grsy for over a year.
December 8, 20223 yr Consider twice if you want to setup autodebit. I just cancelled one autodebit and it was not easiest process. First i went to bank. They gave me some papers which i had to get to PEA office. First at Pea they said they can not cancel yet because it was near to some billing cycle. O.k , i said so cancel from the next cycle then. No not possible yet and then they gave me a date when i should come again and then it is possible.. Uhh,,,????

Soon after I arrived in Thailand I was advised setting up a direct debit to pay utilities was not a good idea, as they were difficult to cancel. So for a while it got paid at their office. Then along came the 7-11 or Tesco checkout option. Now my Bank app scans the QR-Code and it is done....
December 8, 20223 yr Access their website and select e service. You'll need your last bill for meter Nos. Like you I have never been able to get their app to work
December 8, 20223 yr Popular Post As I only recently discovered thanks to getting answers to a similar question I posted, it's easy enough hopefully from anywhere once you have the PEA smart plus app on your smartphone. You do need to change your country in Playstore to Thailand to download load the app. or do as I did and used my wife's Google ID registered in Thailand and hey presto! After that I opened it with my own Google account. It isn't fussy once you've got it! The app has Thai and foreign user log ons. Choose foreign ( English only) and put in your passport number and Thai mobile number ( only accepts Thai numbers). You are sent a one time passcode to move on. You are also sent a unique user passcode which you need to enter each time you log in. Once in you put in codes from your printed paper bill the first time or scan the QR code. . Then the address associated with the bill appears which I named home. Any outstanding bills are listed with a button to "pay now". A variety of online payment methods are offered The app has a menu and you can choose to display past bills with consumption and cost. Other things you can do through this menu eg report an outage. There is also a phone helpline with an English speaking option. As I did have a problem early on with the codes I rang it. Quick to answer, quick to resolve the problem.
