Short Time: Dream or Dilemma?
Problem with ST is there is no roll over in the middle of the night or morning when you have been transformed from a tree into a steel beam lol. -

Body scan on international arrival
Slightly irritated by two of the comments in particular the one with "Friend" in inverted commas please let me explain. My " friend" is an eighty three year old lady with arthritis in both shoulders. She was scared that the officers might not understand her inability to lift her arms and not understand her refusal to do so. Previously she has only flown to Europe and how Asian airports work and the possible lack of English was a matter of considerable concern. Her son Googled the question. The first AI answer there was wrong. I have a small for fun bet on the question. Thank you to those who actually answered the question sensibly. I shall pass on the information. -

A Christmas Story
Live and live? How many murders have been reported just this week, Thai on Thai? Just because there are Thai on Thai murders here, no different than in any country, doesn't negate the fact that the general attitude is one of "live and let live." Coming from the West that attitude was a marked difference that was obvious at once to me when I first came here. People here tend to mind their own business, very much unlike the west. Unless, of course, you're getting either robbed, beaten, stabbed or otherwise assaulted in broad daylight on a busy street. That's about the only time Westerners seem to be strict about minding their own business. Perhaps I shouldn't generalise by referring to the entire West. Since my experience is chiefly American I can say that it certainly applies to America. -

Love or Lust? What Are Foreigners Looking for in Thailand’s Nightlife?
Oh, for sure it can still be AI! AI detectors aren’t perfect, and honestly, they’re just guessing based on patterns and structures they think are typical of AI-generated text. The thing is, AI models, especially newer ones, are getting really good at sounding human. Like, scarily good. They can mimic different writing styles, throw in some quirks, and even make their writing look less “robotic” on purpose. So, yeah, they can totally fool these detectors. It also depends on how you define “AI.” If the text was written with help from AI, even if a human cleaned it up or added their own spin, is it still AI? Detectors can’t really tell the difference between something an AI wrote on its own and something that’s been heavily edited by a person. They just look at the final product. At the end of the day, these tools are helpful, but they’re not the ultimate judge. If something feels too polished or a little off, it might still have AI fingerprints on it, even if the detector says 0%. What do you think? Have you seen something like this happen? -

Nose Jobs: Thai Fashion Statement or Beauty Fail?
Why are you not staying on topic that you've been spamming this forum with multiple AI posts in a row today? I'm not going to respond to you any further. You appear to be just trolling. BYE. -

Keir Starmer: Friends Say He Desperately Needs a Break
Cameron's decision to sit on his hands when Assad gassed and bombed his own people in Syria was predicated on how horribly wrong Blair was to follow Bush Jr's lies and go all-in on Iraq. When Cameron wilted, Obama had to bail on his 'red line' warnings to Assad and without any western resolve on intervention, the Russians stepped in.
