Daily News Thai Caption: Vicious jealousy

Daily News reported on a case of a Thai husband murdering his wife at construction workers' accommodation in downtown Udon Thani, NE Thailand.

Police went to a house in Udondech Road Soi 7 where Ulaiporn, 34, was face up in bed in a blanket.

She was dead. She had a bruised left eye and signs of strangulation round her neck.

He husband who had attacked her gave her one last kiss before he was taken away.

Neramit told police that he had been with his wife for four years.

They had a one year old son being looked after by his sister-in-law back in Sakon Nakhon.

He and his wife had been working on a construction site but he claimed that she had been repeatedly carrying on with another man. He said his wife was good looking.

When he confronted her about the relationship he ended up on the end of a foul tongue lashing, he claimed.

The previous evening they had been drinking and they argued and at one point he grabbed her from behind and strangled her with his forearms.

He then lay next to his wife all night.

He said at first he didn't think he had killed her.

But he awoke at 3.30 am and she was cold.

In the morning he contacted his employer at a nearby house and told her all what had happened.

Buaphan, 60, said she didn't believe him at first but was then convinced and contacted the police.

Neramit was distraught at killing his wife, effectively orphaning his son because of the time he must spend in jail.

These topics often end with    He had mental issues .  Could well apply here.

I'm not condoning her murder but perhaps he was perfectly normal, albeit intoxicated, and just didn't like his intoxicated, promiscuous wife putting herself about as much as she did?

I hugged you till death......they sometimes, but he did it for real...

I think the fact that he was drunk had more to do with it. Alcohol makes people more violent. In many cases of violence alcohol is in play.

Disgusting ... "perfectly normal" is it to take a woman by the neck and choke her to death!!!

Yes, no would would like their partner to have an affair , but attacking your partner isn't the solution

"a case of a Thai husband murdering his wife at construction workers' accommodation"

and desperate if they took jobs intended for non-Thai people.....

Yes, but by looking at the picture, it does not look like the brightest man on the planet.

Congratulations on lowering yourself to nothing more than a rule-breaking insult.

You're right and I didn't say that it was the answer.

Obviously not and I did not say that it was, do you not understand the meaning of "I'm not condoning her murder"?.

He never heard the old saying "Women: Can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em/"

i would think i still stand much higher than the level your comment brought you to ?

The guy killed his wife and now his son has to be looked after by someone else.

I wonder if the son will ever forgive his dad?

It does not matter what the woman was doing, she did not deserve to die.
