In 1962 they were warning about nuclear war.  Climate issues have been in the news for over 40 years.

 

Nothing will change much in 2023, but expect prices on just about everything to increase.

climate issues are serious.

elon musk's neuralink makes me nervous ... plugging people into machines. 

we might work less in the future to curtail climate change. that could be good ,,, more leisure time ... but some people might smoke pot all day.

if there is war escalation, with new more advanced military equipment being deployed, there is possibility of 3ww.

That increases chances for nukes being used, as many countries will be involved in active fighting

Yes, the simpler the life, the less the problems. Sadly, I never saw that when I was young and went for an adventurous life over saving for old age. It was a great ride while it lasted, but everything ends.

I'm hoping the new world government selects the climate deniers to be the first colonizers of the moon and Mars. They deserve it. Kind of like how Irish convicts, jailed for stealing bread from the English, were sent to Australia.

I do wish you'd stop saying "climate deniers" as it's IMO BS. No one I've ever heard/ read says that climate isn't changing. What they do say is that it isn't caused by human action or it can't be changed by such as electric cars and "renewable energy". I'm with the latter.

That that oft proven, utterly false claim is why I call then deniers. They refuse to read scientific articles and evidence outside the echo chamber and do their utmost to poison the well. Deniers is too kind.

Planet Earth has been cooling since its formation 2. 5 Billion years ago and it will cool to such an extent the enteral bits will turn to rock and all life forms will perish  .

   We need global warming to keep Planet Earth a habitable place

LOL. I'm still waiting for anyone to come up with affordable, effective and acceptable solutions to man made pollution. So far nada.

 

What is the first thing people wanted to do after restrictions eased- get on a plane to travel! 5555555. So much for doing something practical by not flying and polluting the atmosphere.

Same old tired canards. The answer is stop burning fossil fuels and move to renewables. Every form of renewable energy is now cheaper than fossil fuels except hydrogen and that will come soon. Stopping climate change won't be free, nobody pretends that. If fossil fuel subsidies were stopped they wouldn't look so cheap. If cleaning up coal mines was factored into the price they would look super expensive.

Climate deniers? Who denies that there is a climate? I agree that there is a climate, and that it's very likely changing - as it has since the beginning of time. I maintain, however, that there is no "climate emergency", and whatever happens to the climate will be easily manageable by our very adaptive species.

 

I won't wish that climate alarmists like yourself be sent to the moon because, if you are really vaccinated, as you claim to be, then nature will deal with you accordingly - to the benefit of mankind.

 

I also notice that you assume that a world government is coming. I am not the least surprised by that, given that your opinion on just about every topic is anti-freedom/anti-human rights. But I ask you: Is there some reason why you think you will fare better under this one world government than the rest of us? Are you perhaps hoping to get a job in that new world government as their chief propagandist?

for climate change, it may be hard to prove to what extent human activity is causing it.

and maybe we can't fully trust the science.

there are other aspects of climate that is never talked about.

air pollution is out of control in many parts of the world. 

the oceans are heavily polluted to the point where it is hardly not safe to eat fish anymore.

many species are going extinct. this is easily provable and cannot be denied. 

we should stop focusing on the term "climate change" and call it sth broader like "environmental degradation". 

 

one thing the WEF is planning to combat environmental degradation is "15 minute cities", where everything is within walking or biking distance.

There won't be a nuclear war any time soon as the US has a 1973 based system (polais II and Minuteman III) that is managed on an 'until fail' principle. Russia, on the other hand, has hypersonics, so no guessing as to who would survive.

 

As others have said, climate changes - unsurprising seeing as literally everything is changing all of the time. Having said that, a not insignificant amount of the changes happening are at least influenced by man. There is a theory that God invented man so that he could make a plastic-full world, so maybe we have fulfilled our purpose and it is curtains for us - I need to go to black magic for an answer.......
