An Indian man filed a police report, claiming a guard at a Pattaya pub slapped his face over a bill misunderstanding.

The Indian victim accompanied by his mate took to Pattaya police to complain about his unsatisfied experience at an unnamed pub in Pattaya today, December 30th, at 01:30 AM. The victim, who asked not to reveal his name, said the staffer at a Pattaya pub had mistaken him for a past dine-and-dasher, and the victim said he had no idea who that person was.

The staffer claimed they had CCTV footage of that runner, but the victim argued it was not him. An argument then heated up when the guard walked in and eventually led to the guard slapping the victim in the face, according to the victim’s claim.

Was he in regular in those Pattaya bars? That would be interesting news. ????

The headline says 'allegedly slapped'. It's either yes or no.

And would someone who had done a runner from a restaurant, go back into the same one again? I think not, although you never know.

Who knows?  All those faces are alike, only the thickness of their gold chains differentiates them.

Looks like he had a full helping of whatever he ate.

Let's ask this in a different way: Would anybody who thinks clearly deliberately run away from a restaurant bill?

Its all a misunderstanding obviously? This time it really could be, but an unprovoked attack is assault?

well they all asked for quality Indian tourists, here they are.

And the other guy also had a yellow "POLO" tee.

S.it happens.

Did he slap the guard back?  In my former profession I would have classified this “no crime”.

He actually didn't post that he was from Iran, he wrote "Irian"

Irian is not Indian as the article states. To me close to Iran

The guy is obviously innocent. No way he could have done a 'runner'. Roller, maybe, but runner....no way.

I will never understand how humans let this happen to themselves.

Well people here will be disappointed if I don't say this.... he thought one of the other 5 he shared the bottle with had paid!

Why didn't he want his name publishing?  Does his missus know where he is?  He has a fairly distinctive silhouette AND he's good at pointing.

You might be surprised... I have heard of many instances where men (including but not exclusively Indians) are surreptitiously in Pattaya!

If I look at the belly of the victim it cannot be denied that he seems to like food. But a drunk guard is a no-go. Poor Indian. At least he didn't get the "hug of theft" by a ladyboy.

Guard drunk, and assaulting a customer at work, should be fired, but not here in the LOSlaps.
