This train driver must hold the world record, for rail crossing deaths caused by idiots going round barriers. were they all at the same crossing ? or on the same line,? or is it just bad reporting that in fact he was not the train driver in all 20 incidents.

let me do some math... provided Mr. Weerawat Worawong  doesn't retire before, that will make 40 casualties in 10 years! scary and tragic

Incredible statistic, but not surprising given the absurdly high levels of stupidity I witness daily on the roads here.

The majority simply should not be allowed to drive or ride a bike.

Impatience is normal here.  And wondering where the deceased was going to that made him decide he just couldn't wait for the train to pass?  A som tum meal?  I am sure being a minute delayed would not have made any difference.  Rushing to get somewhere where there is no urgency to get to is the norm here.

You are not very good at math, are you? Now we think.

How many year was it already?
What do you think retirement age is in Thailand?

Now try again. ????

They will not learn, downright refuse to. Most of them think they know it all already. ????‍♂️

'They' and 'them'

Don't know that this driver impatience is limited to Thailand only.

Though the overall driving/motorcycle standards here are often dreadful in terms of risk taking.

No rail lines in our area of SE Thailand - if there were I'm sure there'd be riders/drivers desperate to 'beat the train'.

For example: USA 2021: 9251 train/vehicle incidents; 901 fatalities. More than two a day

'They' never learn!
