How much is Visa run from BKK for 30 days extension visa exempt

Featured Replies

did somebody do it with a van? How much did it cost?

Is it better to just go with a plane?

What are my options?

A 30 day visa extension is obtained from your local Immigration Office.  How you get there is up to you but a plane is not likely to be needed.

A helicopter will be OK.

Couple of options.

Take border run to Cambodia which involves long gig in van

OR

Fly Udon Thani and bounce to Nong Khai bridge.

For me it would be return (cheap) flight to Saigon for a mini holiday.

Where is that emoji. This will have to do. ????????????.

You will get a 45 day stamp when you arrive before march 31. Then about 2 weeks before expiration date you’ll need to go to the immigration office to get a 30 day extension. Then do a border run before the extension expires, take a bus or rent a car, cheaper and easier.

typical brownnoser....555

A sled and 8 huskies would do it. Fur lined clothing is optional. ????

I did a VTE visa run in Jan 23'

$40 Immigration

Airfare about 280 Euro

3 day nice hotel 180 euro

meals and booze 120 euro

entertainment 40 euro per night long time

Can do it for less with bus 1200  bht rt

, cheap room 200 bht

, Leo beer and street food.

but still $40 immigration

I would rather fly out of the country if I was first going to the airport!

Did Puh Quoc last time, perfect gettaway from Thailand. Not busy, and ok destination to stay one or two nights.

Edit note, no papers and hassel free.

Phu Quoc a dive in my books.

Nope, direct flights and I hope it will last. Best visa run ever!

And if you need a hide out for a month before your return, you get 30 days visa exempt on arrival at Puh Quoc not the normal 15 days you get at mainland.
