When I was a kid, "finders keepers, losers weepers" was de rigueur.

 

It did tend to instill a sense of responsibility and self-awareness. Some a-hole once nicked my shoes in the school changing rooms.  Solution, nick somebody else's shoes.

The most expensive I have found is 350 US.  Also, if they are that expensive and valuable, why does she forget them in immigration?  i would think something that expensive you would not put down on a counter

 

If I were the policeman or his lawyer, I would be asking for a receipt to show the value.  Somehow also doubt that he thought they were expensive probably thought they looked good and would give them to his next GF.

It is ironic, that in the middle of a series of PR disasters, these goons create another one, out of nothing. And you have franchisees, who make a living off of corruption and theft of tourist and local money, accusing a tourist who simply picked up a pair of seemingly abandoned sunglasses, into a serious crime. You could not make this stuff up.

They might be prescription sun glasses purchased outside of Thailand.   I have prescription sunglasses that I paid a little more than $600.00 for even after insurance, in the U.S. of A.!
