We're with RoiJai, and 9000k+/-, if memory serves, at 1 yr old, after free ins expired.  At the time, 11 months ago, loss value is 840k, down from original coverage of 960 (purchase MG ZS for 949k).  Due for renewal next month.

Did place a claim, and excellent customer service from them.  Highly recommend 👍👍

Quoted 13,500 on their website ... not bad. Will check more later. (Model 2023 and not 2024 / 50,000km) . That could be the old one ... anyway the first year is free normally

Philip.

Philip.

Don't forget discount for dash cam, and if never had an accident/claim in past so many years, may want to get the highest deductible (5k), with knocked 1800 or 1400 off.  We did, and obviously the wrong move for us.   Haven't had a claim in over a decade, and within 6 months ... oops.

There price also included a rebate.  Ours was 1400 I think, and really strange way of pricing things.  You get vouchers or something, I forget, be wife used them the first week having.

Do you have a better suggestion considering buy in price and operating / maintenance cost for knocking around town.   I sure can't think of a better value.

Or you just showing your EV / CN prejudice.  I'd never own an ICEV to knock around town, or ever really.  They're crap, poor performers & expensive in comparison.

Just received a quote frox AXA premium for new Neta V2 at 22k....wow... Anything better than this? Or all EV car are overpriced for insurance premium?

Check out the Neta facebook group here

Ideally the capital amount should be whatever you pay for the car + EV 3.5 subsidy

as there have been many cases where the repair cost if you are unlucky to be involved in a claim have exceeded 70% of the capital amount

Thanks for the link.

Seems like every day there is a complaint.

Considering Thailand strict anti defamation laws it is probably 10 times worse.

That's your opinion. And you know what they say about opinions...

All eyes & ears ... waiting for better suggestions, for the price, that performs as well around town, for the same operating & maintenance cost.

Can't beat it for knocking around town.  If want top end speed and or range, you'll be spending more on something else.  Hey, but 0-50 kph - 3.9 secs :cheesy:  Got to like that, knowing it's not breaking any speed or distance records.  BUT ...

320 kms  charging at home @ ~5 baht per kWh =~190 THB

20k kms year = ~11.8k THB

320 kms 20 kpL x 16 L @ 36 baht = ~575

20k kms year = ~35,9k THB

Savings 24k a year X 10 years = 240k THB 👍

Another newbie but practical question 🤔 When I charge the car, anywhere, including my family house, does the app get an history of where I charged and how much did it cost? So I can pay for it, say, at the end of the month . Or is it up to me to fill an excel file correctly?

If you use public Charger you will get a summary at the end of the Session including how many kwh charged and price. If you have your own Wallbox at home and it is an advance one you can create weekly, monthly or even yearly Reports showing how much you have charged.

It's easy enough to calculate.  You know the 'usable' battery capacity.  You get what % it's at, and % when done charging.   Gives you a ball park idea of how many kw s you used.   Times ฿5 per kWh, as most don't pay more than that, I don't think.

I think the Neta has 38kWh battery, so say 35kWh is usable X ฿5 = ฿175 if starting at 0%.   We're not talking a lot of money here.   Might want to add 15% as a bit is loss between meter & battery.

I think it's the last 5% of topping up, that 'uses' the kWh, doing the balancing of cells.  As things slow down.  I usually stop at 90-95% anyway when at CS (Charging station), if not dong anything.

So if at 50% and top up, you use 17/18 kWh, at ฿5 for all of  ฿90.  Add 15ish %, and  ฿100 would be about right.

As I show here, last time I did an equalization.

If at a CS, it will break down the kWh, per kWh charge and total charge.

Really is simply process.
