Because I do not like to stay in Bangkok and my Doctor's appointments are there I will travel by Bus to Ekamai and take the Skytrain to the Hospital.

Now my question

What time does the first bus to Ekamai leave from North Pattaya Bus Station?

I need to be in Bumrungrad Hospital at around 10am so would be prefer arriving in BKK at around 8:30am.

Another question

Previously you could get of the bus before Ekamai (forgot the name of the Skytrain station) because of possible traffic jams on Sukhumvit. Is that still possible? We won't take any luggage with us.

Perfect. Answers all my questions in one go

????

Edit: Yep Udom Suk thanks for that, I was thinking of the name, it beats the traffic on Sukhumvit getting off there.

A related question: how to get to the North Pattaya bus station without taking a taxi.

No baht busses run there anymore from Best supermarket unless you pay 60 Baht upfront. You might as well get a motorbike taxi. Bolt maybe?

Walking is the only other option.

Motorcycle taxi.... baht bus down 2nd and then one from Best on North Rd. Bolt. Walk.

An alternate answer for the OP:

Take the Jomtien bus to Suvarnaphumi airport, rail link into Bangkok.

First bus at 7am.

Don't think I will make it on time to be at the Hospital at 8:30am - 9am.

Update:

My wife (and myself as well) doesn't want to

1- Get up at 3am to go for the 4:30am Bus

2- Stay the night in Bangkok

So I guess we are taking a taxi at 5:30-6am that will drop us off at either BTS Bang Na or BTS Udom Suk
