Massive Blackout Cripples Spain and Portugal's Daily Life
Has power been restored yet ? hope you are not suffering too much, here in Thailand there are quite frequent ( but improving rapidly) power cuts and it really brings home just how much we depend upon electricity for pretty much everything...having some sort of backup power at home is not always possible but seems more and more to be something we all should look into, independence from the "grid" if they keep pushing these insane ideologically motivated polices. -

Very big snake
I can guarantee that this King Cobra will not 'attack' and eat your wife, daughter and most likely not be interested in your dogs. Cobras (like most snakes) are not aggressive, rather they are defensive. They will only threaten you if they feel threatened themself. A big snake like that is easy to see - just give it a wide berth and everyone can co-habit happily. It is probably benefitting you living there - as King Cobras are known for mainly predating on other snakes. If you feel that the area is not big enough for you all - may I respectfully suggest you contact a local snake-catcher or similar to catch this snake so it can be safely removed and repatriated to a less popiulated area.
