March 23 (UPI) -- A one-time supporter of former President Donald Trump who has found himself at the center of a conspiracy theory claiming he was a government informant who instigated the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has demanded a retraction from Fox commentator Tucker Carlson for defamation.

 

Ray Epps sent a cease and desist letter to Carlson on Thursday, decrying the commentator's repeated "fanciful notions" and his "assault on truth" on his show.

I dont think TC and Fox has much to worry about imop! One minute Epps is on a poster ,the next poster his name is gone.

Because the FBI realized that Mr. Epps was not one of the people that illegally entered the Capitol: 

 

"From the available footage, it appears that Epps was in attendance at the rally but that he did not go into the Capitol or engage in any violence. seems fox news is not perfect but they are closer to the real truth than the rest of the media combined... the burning of america by antifa and blm were way worse than the protests on jan 6th but they are not being persecuted by the biased justice dept

Really?  At what time were Antifa and BLM threatening to take Congress and the Vice President hostage and prevent the certification of a legitimate Presidential election?

 

Also, if you would pull your head out of your information vacuum you would have no trouble finding numerous arrests and prosecutions that followed the protests over the George Floyd murder.

A Trump poster brought up Ray Epps today. Apparently, the poster still thinks,Epps was an "agent provocateur" working for the government.

 

Now that Epps is suing for defamation, FOX is very quiet about him.

Tho mislead and lied to by trump mr Epps was engaged in legitimate protest tho wrong I fully support his right to do so one only has to watch any legitimate news source to see the ruined lives trump is leaving in his wake.I hope mr Epps survives and thrives even though our views differ
