Popular Post Purdey Posted March 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 28, 2023 Several years ago I was talking to the mayor of one coastal town and asked why do you have bins on the road, 100 meters from the beach? Why not put them on the beach? He informed that the municipality owns the road area while the beach is owned by the state and controlled by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, which doesn't allow waste bins on the beach. Neither side could work together. Sad. 3
LivinginKata Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 A few years back bins were removed as a security measure. Bomb threat.

Yes! Nothing is more relaxing than having a squad of soldiers milling around the beach while you're sipping your Mai Tai. 1 1
