Patong – Photos of Patong beach with black water has gone viral in social media this week.


‘Drone Boat Patong’ posted multiple photos with the message “Black seaweed at Patong Beach has affected confidence in tourism.”

 

Sea water on Patong Beach from the area around the Pak Bang Canal is black. Swimmers are not going into the water as a result of caution and concern.

Regardless, they're probably dead right.

Most likely untreated sewage. Using the excuse that this is natural.  Regardless, it is toxic water, stay well away from the black sludge.
