To clarify our understanding of your meaning above, I offer the following.

If you are referring to administering a will that a court has determined requires probate, then a 100K lawyer fee could be a cost; I don't know.

I know of one recent case. Farang died while out of the country. Long-time TGF was the sole beneficiary in his Thai will. The only asset was his 800k baht (to meet the visa requirement). She went to two lawyers. Each quoted her a 120,000 baht fee. While she was not on the account, she did have the ATM card and PIN. I don't know what she chose to do, but I have a guess.

Absolutely spot on.  A will registered with the local Amphur, provides your wife with the necessary authority under the will to access the funds immediately, upon presentation of the document.

Useless post. Rubbish.

I have a 10 year partner.

Not married.

She has my bank details.

Against law to withdrawal funds upon death.

No 100% sure

But think,  if it's a joint account she can take 50%

straight out.

Many threads regarding this.

Some in marriage and divorce forum and some even banking and finance forum.

I suggest that all farang expats living in Thailand have a Will.

Here is thread and covers having wife as signatory in bank book.
