Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin says Russia has already accomplished its goals in Ukraine—but must keep fighting even if it means humiliating defeat so that the country can ultimately rise again as a “war monster” that the international community will bow down to.

 

After recruiting thousands of prison inmates to help fight the war for Vladimir Putin and using his shadow army to emerge as a rival to Russia’s top military brass, the mercenary boss and Kremlin-linked businessman offered his thoughts on the state of the war in a lengthy article published Friday.

Who exactly are going to do that? They are clobbering the west in the Ukraine proxy war. Also displacing the French fighting jihadists in central Africa. No doubt they are brutal but they have a long way to go in that respect to catch up to the 1M dead in Iraq caused by the British and Americans.

No but Putin is making land gains every day. It's a war of attrition in which he has most of the advantages. The Pentagon leaks show western media has been spreading nonsense propaganda. Like kill ratios reversed. Takes one back to 2003 when all the Iraqi WMD lies were being spread. While Ukraine is being slowly destroyed munitions manufacturing corporations are making out like bandits. I don't agree, the Ukrainians are now well-equipped, well-trained, have much better intel and more motivated

 

Russia is now relying on more and more 6 weeks in training conscripts, digging out old tanks and no control of the skies, they are getting their butts kicked, no doubt about it. Yes they may have gained some ground, flattened towns and cities but wait till the spring and summer when all this new western equipment rolls to the front

where an invading Army is locked in battle abroad, there are inherent logistical weaknesses and in this case, a lack of well trained forces.

One of the biggest advantages that Ukraine has is that it is fighting on its own land FOR it own survival with shorter and safer logistical supply lines. It is almost impossible to beat that kind of motivation and advantage. 

Ukraine can also repair most of the damaged military equipment and send it back to the front. Russia cannot do that.

And Russian supply lines are vulnerable. Not to mention the technical advantages of the drones 'eye in the sky' that has proved itself.
