Video Foreign Tourist Arrested in Phuket Over Unpaid Bar Bill and Alleged Insults
Cash Is King. Don't leave home without it! With that said, mistakes can happen. Problems with debit cards and bank transfers via phone which can go south during power outages or just problems with international banking can happen. There are ways to sort that out without resorting to threats of imprisonment. However??? Perhaps you're considered to be a "special person" in your home country, then you come to Thailand, have issues with paying a bill, and then insult all Thais in general because, well, don't Thais know you're special? Not a good plan at all. Enjoy detention! -

Don't you simply download the App, BBC Sounds, LBC, Classic FM or whatever you want, or one of the International Radio App, onto your PC, phone or tablet, and off you jolly well go? -

What's the dullest place in Thailand?
You forget thailand has a lot transit arrivals not actual tourists. Also many backpackers stay 1-2 months in vietnam nowadays, most tourists here do not.
