Exclusive: Evan Corcoran said he was steered away from Trump’s office, where the FBI later found the most sensitive materials

Donald Trump’s lawyer tasked with searching for classified documents at Mar-a-Lago after the justice department issued a subpoena told associates that he was waved off from searching the former president’s office, where the FBI later found the most sensitive materials anywhere on the property.

The lawyer, Evan Corcoran, recounted that several Trump aides had told him to search the storage room because that was where all the materials that had been brought from the White House at the end of Trump’s presidency ended up being deposited.

Corcoran found 38 classified documents in the storage room. He then asked whether he should search anywhere else but was steered away, he told associates.

So very often it’s the coverup that exposes the crime, and Corcoran is eager to talk about it.

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.

I remember when it happened, Corcoran and another attorney had to sign something that said they verify that all confidential documents have indeed been returned.  Both were reluctant to do that, and did so with CYA language.  Good for them.

Oh boy thee obstruction case gets stronger every day!

Honestly, my main concern is he stay alive long enough to face justice which is slowly but surely closing in on him.

I can only wonder what on earth he thought he was going to do with all these "secrets "......

Expose the sources and methods used against him and his administration that the agencies and other organizations perpetrated on America imop.
“At the end of Donald Trump's presidency, his team returned a large batch of classified FBI documents and other government records to the Justice Department in such disarray that a year later -- in a letter to lawmakers -- the department said it still couldn't tell which of the documents were the classified ones.

The documents came from the FBI's controversial probe in 2016 looking at alleged links between Russia and Trump's presidential campaign. Trump tried to make the documents public the night before he left office, issuing a "declassification" memo and secretly meeting with conservative writer John Solomon, who was allowed to review the documents, Solomon told ABC News this past week”.

This is incoherent. If Trump had documents which could incriminate the FBI, he would have given them to his pal Durham, instead of hiding them.
