What hobbies do you have, what keeps you busy?

Researching and stockpicking, mostly.

Eating and drinking. A little yoga.

Not much time for hobbies, to be honest.

A bit of reading.

Playing hide the pickle.

A little cryptic but ok.

Yes, in theory...

After looking at lots of videos I decided to buy a relative expensive Prusa 3d printer.

The reason is/was that that thing works accurately the way it should work. You tell it to do A and it actually does A.

It seems with many cheap printers there are lots of problems which especially beginners don't see, because they don't have the experience. That is headache.

So if you want to buy a 3d printer better learn first what you get into.

Do you write your own software for this?Lets say you want to print a small

statue or part, how do you go about that?

First, I look if someone else did it already.

If it is my own idea/design then I use Autodesk Fusion 360 and the Prusa tools.

Fusion 360 is a great program, and with limited usage for free. It takes time to learn the concepts and how to use it. Luckily there are lots of great how to videos out there.

How many did you find?

IMHO there might be a lot of cool looking shops. But few of them have decent espresso.

If I am in a new location, then I look for new coffee shops, because I have no other choice.

When I know already a good shop in the location where I am, then I go to the best coffee shop which I know already.

Creating new varieties of frangipani/plumeria keeps me occupied, while I need workers to do the physical side, I do the twirling(a method I started)/cross pollinating, seedlings and grafting. I am recognized around the world for my work with this plant and have been flown to the US to do talks and demonstrations as well as to Australia, appeared on TV shows and radio for it as well. It keeps my mind busy and I get a lot of enjoyment from it, I also get a lot of queries about them from overseas and help many people, pics are 3 of my creations but I have well over 100, first is named after my wife, Golden Noi and it is well known around the world, second is Red Moon Rising and third is Dragon Breath.

Taking old (very rare) pop singles from the 60s out of my collection. No rock, no country, no folk...just obscure catchy, orchestrated and melodic pop and pleasant psych pop.

I look for matching 60s footage, digitally clean the record, edited video and sound (when both are the exact same length and post 'em on youtube.

I don't gain a penny by doing this but it keeps me creative.
