Hypocrite.

"Outgoing Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha wishes the country to remain peaceful while those concerned are forming the new government."

Yeah? Like the country was when he was forming his new Government?

Your one word post says it all!

Prayut said he will do his duty and take care of the country while the new government is being set up.

Words of truth.  The whole business was one big set up from the start.

Hmmmm, he took over in a amilitary coup but now he wants a peaceful transition. I hate politicians, such snakes in the grass!

The tanks are fueled, the guns are loaded. Just waiting for an excuse.

What a hypocrite, did everything he could while he had the power to make sure there would be no peaceful transition if the junta backers lost the vote.

Did you forget he used violence to overthrow the previous democratically elected government?

His smirk seen time and time again says it all.....here's hoping the vast majority of the population sees how they've been wronged.....

This guy is such a clown. He stole the government for 9 long years from the people. He stole their economic well being. He presided over a horribly inept administration. He appointed a crony senate, that is causing a breakdown in the little bit of democracy that remains here. And he expects a peaceful transfer of power?

He is asking for everyone to lie down, and accept whatever comes. Leave it to the army and the elites. Don't interrupt our actions. Be obedient. Do not rebel, do not resist.

Likely, more like a canary, if his tiny hands were ever held to the fire! One can only hope that day will come. Lock him up!

It’s that, the puppet masters back in town and you can’t touch me look. ????

Was his own "transition of  power " peaceful in 2014 ?

He may hope so, but cannot guarantee it.????

what a moronic thing for an usurper to say, unless he means he hopes he won't have to overthrow the next government

Thats what the election was for you old traitor, stopped by the unelected cronnies you stuffed the senate with.

hypocrite, if that is really what you wished/wanted/hoped for, there is a very easy solution, just tell the 250 scam bags that your appointed, to follow people's will/wishes and appoint the democratically elected person

Put your money (actions) where your mouth is, stop the bs, people had enough of it fore the past 9 years
