webfact
Pattaya — A 52-year-old Thai woman was bitten by a massive snake while descending from her home in Pattaya’s Soi Thung Klom Tan Man 22. The venomous culprit is still nowhere to be found. A local woman named Mrs. Lampoo Kaeprathop was found by Sawang Boriboon rescuers on August 6th, experiencing symptoms of numbness and dizziness. The woman, who had a clear snake bite mark on her right ankle, recounted that while she was walking down from her house, located in a relatively secluded area within a forest to prepare a meal for her husband, she suddenly felt a bite on her ankle. Jing Joe
A dose of King Cobra venom can kill 20 people. Good luck lady. Hope to hear a happy follow-up. Purely by the way, King Cobras are not really a Cobra :- "king cobras are Ophiophagus hannah while cobras are members of the Naja genus" "....the king cobra is the sole member of the genus Ophiophagus. It is distinguishable from other cobras by its large size and neck patterns. The name “king cobra” stems from its ability to kill and eat cobras." still the same:- If it looks like one, acts like one, bites like one:- LOOKOUT. ????

Not necessarily, if the cobra only felt startled but wasn't attacked it needn't have used venom, venom is valuable to the snake and needs to be replenished so it won't waste it but will save it for its prey which she obviously wasn't.
The Old Bull
11 hours ago, Dickie Dee said: how can treat if not know what kind of snake? King cobras can control the amount of venom they inject . This makes the bites difficult to treat because they don't know how much anti venom to give till they see some development. Cobras know that once their venom is gone they are vulnerable so they use it carefully, Maybe she got none maybe she got the lot.

Except young Cobras which have not learnt to control their venom flow. More dangerous.
