Makro, as they just started offering a few months ago. Got to be killing the 5 Star kiosk business in the parking lot, since about 20 or 30 baht cheaper.

We only shop at Makro, as the Lotus's here is one of, if not the worst in TH. Only go to that mall for Swensen's & Pizza Co. Only chain options, so Makro or fresh/wet markets, and I wouldn't by any protein from them.

Looks are deceiving, and I was surprised how good it was. Especially since I started on the breast, and quite moist, well, for store cooked, sitting around. The breasts, I usually use for chicken salad sandwich or Caesar Salad.

My healthy 'break fast', of eggs & beef. Along with some roasted cashews & dark chocolate. My usual food intake from about 1100hr - 1500 hrs. Almost weighed cashew, knowing what my usual handful weighs X 2. Weigh out 65g of 70% DC everyday. 2 XL eggs weigh ~140g, beef was also weighed out.

Protein with eggs isn't my norm. But if having, especially too much in frig, then I'll add. Usual go with Salmon when in the mood for protein for brekkie.

Trader Joe's was closest macro #s I could find to match BESTMATE DC.

This is actually my preferred Fat/Carb/Protein breakdown. Fats 50+%, and other ~50% split between carbs & protein, preferring more protein. Almost half the calories for a 2000 a day count, though prefer less, 1500-1800, and why brekkie is usual just 2 eggs.

Usually eat the cashews & chocolate later in the afternoon, as good snack & sweet tooth fix.

Perfect proportion of meat, egg & cheese, on grilled (buttered) bun. Running out of things to take snaps of for brekkie. Scrambled or fried eggs + only gets me so far.

Getting back to the sandwich, I'm guessing was a joke about McD's. It looks burnt on the underneath. But I'm also aware that when taking pics, sometimes caramelised parts can seem worse in pictures than to the naked eye.

Maybe whomever gave the thumbs down, didn't understand the reference to McD or just didn't like the presentation..

Either way, it seems someone is definitely oversensitive to criticism.

This is supposed to be the happy place. Me personally I don't spend that much time on breakfast. Looks good.

There can be no happy place without happy people. If someone 'becomes' unhappy because someone doesn't share their view of a sandwich, that's not a happy person.

In my world, we would all be laughing at the whole situation. But here, there is outrage and spiteful behaviour. People just pretending to be happy on the surface.

Balance is always good, and correct, optical illusion, as was nicely grilled on bottom, and wish the top was the same. I did suspect that may have been the reason for 👎 but should have chimed in and stated ... "not bad, but you F'g burnt the bottom"

McD's at work (MEM airport) and was a quick brekkie fix, usually a couple egg & sausage burritos, but when out of, the Egg McMuffins were good. Here, TH, not so much.

My opinion is that you shouldn't over think these things. Take any criticism with a laugh and the world will laugh with you. React badly and the world will laugh at you. Stuff I learned as a kid.

Apparently brisk, as that was quite earlier, photo taken @ 0723, and was there for few minutes before. Half the tables taken, couple folks took away 2 or 4 each. Gent standing there took away 2, and I took away 4.
