I had fairly complex shoulder surgery with him. All good, AND he is a very nice human being.

He was the team orthopedist accompanying the Thai Olympic team to Japan.  Perfect English.  CMU prof.  Occasional foreign country seminars or lecturing.  He can do surgery at any CM hospital but has parental connections to the better priced Rajavej by the river.

I'm currently looking into health insurance.

I'm not sure what level of surgical cover I need.

Could some of the posters give me ballpark prices of their surgery ?

Thanks

I fully agree with above.

Check with Mdr Chanakarn. He's very professional.

He did my spine surgery 2 months ago at Rajavej. Perfect.

would you mind telling me what type of procedure you had ?    and for what problem ?

i know that each persons situation is different..... but helps to know about other "experiences" (IMO) .

I know Dr Chanagan and that he is very good.

Friend just had this done privately in UK, far worse than hip replacement, very painful and long exercise programe after. Only do if you really need it and you will probably have to have the other one done as well. 16k in UK.
