Popular Post webfact
A physician who serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the Police Hospital, has shared insights following his assessment of the health condition of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. The examination, conducted on August 23, included electrocardiogram tests administered through a mobile EKG machine. Additionally, tests focusing on lung and heart health unveiled persistent concerns, reported INN. Notably, Thaksin's blood pressure has maintained stability, allowing for coherent communication. The comprehensive findings were duly reported to the Department of Medical Services. The hospitalization of Thaksin traces back to his partial ICU stay during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It's crucial to note that this medical intervention was initiated not at his request but rather at the urgent behest of the Royal Medical Services. Consequently, the attending physician has expressed unease about the circumstances. It's emphasized that medical treatments and the divulgence of patient data adhere to principles of patient consent and medical ethics. Turning attention to the recent air conditioning matter, repairs have been successfully completed, ensuring comfort for all patients. Consideration of relocating Thaksin to a private medical facility hinges upon the efficacy of the ongoing treatment. Worth mentioning is the fact that the Police Hospital possesses the capability to provide comprehensive care without necessitating a transfer. It's emphasized that political and security considerations fall beyond the purview of the hospital. Remarkably, the Police Hospital has never instigated patient examinations and maintains a steadfast commitment to upholding patient rights. -- ASEAN NOW 2023-08-26 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Are all the health data from all prisoners published? I always thought that kind of information is confidential. 20 12 2

If it has been leaked without consent then Thaksin could bring a legal claim. He also has a lot of control over the ministries involved. If he doesn't do that then I'd suggest that maybe it's a good distraction for his supporters after siding with the military, again, despite the promises. For his critics it's an excuse for the fact he won't spend time in prison. 3

He'll probably be able to leave the country, with permission of course, which he will be able to get without any problems. Even Mars should that become possible. 1

Popular Post mfd101
Well we can all make smartass comments but none of us on AN actually has a clue as to his real state of health or what the current plans by and for him are. It is certainly not impossible that he might be genuinely suffering the ailments that rich people of his age usually suffer (too much lavish foods, too little exercise, too much stress ... ), and all the excitement of the last few days has been almost more than his oldish body has been able to cope with ... I guess we'll be in a better position any week now to offer yet more demonstrations of our collective nous and humanity. 5 1 1

Sydebolle
The dottori might be reminded of patient's rights and confidentiality. We all have our little assumptions on the health condition of Dr T yet officially the doctor has to keep his mouth shut as all that falls under privileged information. I am not a doctor but I saw the disembarkation at Don Meuang, the kneeling and the greetings as well as the returning back into the building. Given the emotional stress and the temperatures outside an ice-cold airport terminal I found, that Dr T took all that rather cool, no sweating and no signs of any discomfort ........ 1
