  • The street is a @hitshow in the evenings. They should shut down the street starting at 8:00pm and just make it a walking street. People speeding and nowhere to walk. Very dangerous.

  • Wow, many people at that meeting.  I think the baht busses on Buakhao jam up traffic more then anything.   A through road and just stop so dangerous and stupid really. Then stop again to get thei

  • Everybody is forgetting that this is Thailand.    The authorities may decide to make Buakhaow one-way and erect all the appropriate signage.  Locals and foreigners would ignore the signs, ma

I am strongly against the whole one-way thing...

You use a car or motorbike on Buakhao? If not, you wouldn't understand

Soi Bukow must be all one-way for this to have any chance of working..

Would kill off an awful amount of businesses, on the south side of Buakhao.

It's a good idea, needs to be one way, obviously need to fine tune the detail.

Soi Honey also 1 way

Dongtan beach 1 way, probably loads more

Dongtan 2 way for bikes 24 hrs, one way for cars 4am to 10pm, as now.

It's the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard of. You would have a lot of traffic traveling a lot of extra distance, looping around to get to their destinations. That means more traffic on 2nd and 3rd roads, and Pattaya South and Central roads which are already parking lots for much of the day.

Park and ride.

I think make Soi Dianna the one-way point. This is already the busiest intersection on soi Bukhao so why not make it crazier 😉

On a serious note, surely Pattaya City Hospital has to have two-way traffic so any one-way would have to not include the stretch between soi Dianna and soi 15?

They have access from 3rd Road.

They don't usually care about that, just look at the roadworks and impact on businesses

Wondering about the market area at the South end and stall holders getting there.

Again, they have 3rd Road, and Pattaya Tai.

But the businesses south of Soi Diana that rely on baht bus trade will suffer.

The common sense thing to do would be to start running a baht bus service on 3rd Road.
