webfact Posted October 22, 2023 Share Posted October 22, 2023 A horrifying accident occurred on Pattaya's Third Road in the early hours of the morning, captured on closed-circuit television. A South Korean man riding a Honda Wave motorcycle, accompanied by a Thai woman, recklessly cut off a German man riding a Yamaha X MAX. The resulting collision left all parties severely injured, reported 77kaoded. The incident occurred near Mouse Bar, located in the city of Pattaya, around 3:00 am on October 22. Rescue workers from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, accompanied by an ambulance, quickly arrived on the scene. Initial medical assessments revealed that the German man and the Thai woman sustained critical injuries, while the South Korean man, although also injured, was in a confused state. Mr. Roger Hamburger is a German citizen Passport number 498377549 and residing at 23/4 Soi 3 Baan Sunuk, Tambon Kaow, Nakhon Sawan and riding a 2018 Kawasaki Intruder VIN number T28377499377238749994XA and with license plate CG3877 and insured by Thai-Best Insurance policy number TB37388830-93993 was accused of swerving in front ......................... Nice and cool with far less traffic than in the early evening. It's certainly easy to spot the drunks; a lot less easy to predict how they will react to sudden impulses for snacks, hos, or more booze. If this happened in other developing nations, the "rescuers" would have thrown the injured into the back of a pickup truck and given them a bumpy ride to the hospital. If they didn't have permanent cervical/neck injuries before, they would have by the end of the ride. So you have that to look forward to when drinking & driving in Thailand!
