Two teenage girls riding a motorbike suffered severe injuries in Chiang Mai after they crashed due to being hit in the face by some wild, uncultivated grass by the roadside. The accident, which resulted in one of the girls lying unconscious with a bloody mouth, prompted calls for related agencies to urgently trim the overgrown grass.

A 34 year old resident from Pa Hae-Nong Moo, Mueang Lamphun district, was on his motorbike along the railway parallel road near the Ton Pung intersection when he spotted a distressed teenage girl, about 17 years old. She was crying and asking for help for her friend lying down the road, their motorbike toppled nearby.

The resident quickly rushed to help the unconscious girl, who had sustained a severe head injury and was bleeding profusely from her mouth. He alerted the local rescue team, who transported the injured girls to Lamphun Hospital.

Yeah, they can trim the overgrown grass, but the best thing would be drivers that look, and do not drive directly in to obstacles.
