The sea is free and surprisingly clean in the cool season.

It isn't the sea that concerns me, it's the untreated raw sewage that is pumped directly into the sea that I have issues with.

I suggest most would be surprised if the sea at Pattaya was clean in any season.

Not if you're used to living in a toilet.

Lot of tourists in the cool season. Are you suggesting it doesn't fester to the same degree?

Exactly.

Fireworks festival Pattaya rammed with "cool season" tourists.

Kings B'Day long weekend, Pattaya rammed with "cool season" tourists.

Plenty of turdlets and soiled condoms floating around the bay.

Yes but family friendly so must be ok right?

I personally do not consider turds and used condoms in Pattaya bay to be family friendly but by all means, if you feel it is I won't crticise.
