I am really looking for someone who can tell me the steps to take for getting a US visa for a Thai person.
I was hoping someone who has done this recently could point me in the right direction by sharing their experience or telling which part of the US Consulate's website is most useful.
I understand if you have had a US visa in the past and the expiration date of the visa is not more than forty eight months, no interview is necessary.
No, it's not enough. Obviously, you couldn't live in Bangkok or Pattaya for 14 years with only one million Baht. You could only live on that amount if you had a place to live in a rural area and didn't have to pay rent. My wife and I live comfortably for about 5,000 Baht per month in a rural area in our own house with our own garden for growing some vegetables and fruits. That amount will rise to 1 million Baht because of inflation.
It seems every week we have a fellow Brit in the news here and back at home doing a GOFUNDME because of having a motorcycle accident in Thailand.
And of course most anccidents are not reported at all.
Often the injuries in many cases would have been less severe if they were wearing a helmet.
Do you wear a helmet, or do you just go with the flow and When in Rome?
Thais are paranoid about foreign workers.
Most Thai aviators are trained abroad and the addition of some foreign pilots would raise the standard as there is a shortage of aviators.
The Ministry of Commerce needs to work with the Lawyer's Council of Thailand. The Committee of Professional Ethics must now include a new regulation to suspend the practicing certificates of errant lawyers involved in registering such companies.
The lawyers are the ones touting the "loopholes" when there is no loophole to begin with.
