My friend has used tinder in cnx and so many ladies only want 1 thing from his experience he says. Why are they on the app in the first place. But they are some bad ones who use the app or site too.So maybe the police should look into some cases which seem nasty

Meanwhile 1000s of prostitutes (or not) take farangs to the cleaners by embezzling their money/properties.

I wonder what the penalties are for this.

There is no penalty for accepting gifts and money from boyfriends.

"woke creature"      Let's invent a term so the cavemen can adopt it

I am sure you know that the woke have a problem with the definition of men and women, some even identify as a furry.

I think "creature" should be inclusive enough.

So he shared the videos with their friends, colleagues, and family?  I guess these women gave him all the information how to contact these other people.  Very odd .
And for the American bashers, including other western countries, on here.  Maybe they should look at themselves.  Because in reality they are in Thailand because they didn’t have much going for them in their own countries.  Both socially and economically inept.

Speaking for yourself?

As an American, I favor trying and sentencing him to a Thai prison term before expelling him as  “persona non grata”. Banning for life.

It's about where and who you're looking for and finding.

Thanks. I meant it ironically. I guess if you found what you want (sexwise) it's cheaper than looking for it. At least you know what you get for the price.

Regarding this article - after running into trouble, professionals all over the world claim to have been seduced, forced, beaten, robbed ... Not that it doesn't happen. But it sounds like their standard excuse when they don't want to confirm that they are prostitutes by their own decision.

These types of racist and nation basing comments make reading the comments on this site useless and offensive.

Do these commenters ever consider

“Is my comment necessary”

“Is my comment helpful”

“Is my comment true”

It seems doubtful they consider anything at all before spewing their hateful and hurtful vitriol

A lot of truth in your rant.

I'm not condoning his actions but, It's all on camera footage apparently, and it seems they were aware of the filming taking place, so are they not also guilty of making porn in Thailand?

The article states they were not aware of the filming taking place

It seems Tom got to know these woman so well that he also knew friends and family members which tells me he must of been seeing them for a while rather than just a one night stand can only think these three woman must of been very vulnerable did they all come from the same area

When you 'friend' someone on Facebook you automatically get access to all their friends by default and you can send messages to them via Facebook messenger. It is possible to switch it off but not many people are aware of it. Facebook is probably the most popular social media app in Thailand. It would be natural for the Thai ladies to accept a friend request from what initially appears to be a charming man and thus unknowingly give him a means of blackmailing them

The woke never laugh at anything, it is impossible to  appear woke and retain any semblance of a sense of humour, the two are totally mutually exclusive. Can you think of one joke that they would be unable to take offence at?  can you think of one woke comedian , ?  Neither can I

A sense of humour is an essential characteristic that sets us apart from the other forms of life on this planet, without a sense of humour one is an incomplete specimen of our species, in effect sub normal ,

The rest of us can joke about everything under the sun , from birth to death nothing is off the table, how lucky we are

There is a line between having a sense of humour and just being vicious. The vicious 'humour' of people like Russel Brand seems to have become popular in recent years. Taking delight in the pain and discomfort of  victims is not normal UK  humour especially when such comments can cause further pain to the victims.

As far as I am concerned nothing is off limits when it comes to joking that includes myself too of course,, If you don't like a certain comedians style just don't watch him.   But you have no right to tell others what they can and cannot watch.    Its never the so called "victims" that get offended, some wokie creature always does it on their behalf

No one is telling you that you cannot watch Russel Bend though , I just don't think that he is funny at all , just a loud moth who is full of himself , but go right ahead and watch him if you want though , no one says that you cannot .

You seem to be portraying yourself as a victim and , suggesting you have been banned from watching something .

I think that Russel Brand is an unfunny nasty mouthy self obsessed weirdo , deal with it, its my opinion and don't get upset or offended

I can't stand him either or Ricky Gervais, for that matter , and I am certainly not trying to be a victim.    Although I think it was Sheffield council who banned Chubby Brown from performing in the city due to his subject matter, depriving many who wanted to see him from doing so. Again I don't find him particularly funny and I don't live in Sheffield.   I just hate this woke cancel culture and all it stands for

Usually said by vicious people until they become one of the victims of unrelenting vicious humour. Then they start crying and weeping and complaining loudly about how horrid everyone is and try to get the 'wokie' people to support them. I watched Brand once and never again, I found him boring. An already wealthy man who used his wealth to promote himself by basically bribing his way into show business.

all that is needed is your name, and thanks to social media and google, people can find your friends, where you live, your family...nearly everything about you.

Correct and what most people don't realise is that when posting on the internet your location  to within a few metres, when you made the post can also be determined by the right software or Facebook, when you 'check in'

On the solemn oath of women who willingly shagged and made porno movies with this  "future husband"?  I'd want to hear the other side of the story.  Some guys live their whole lives and never learn a thing about women.

Well initially I read  'secretly record their sexual activities'... a little incredulous, maybe. But there were a few other damning claims about they guy. Multiple witnesses too.......

I wonder if all the falang keyboard warriors on here who express doubts about the story and leap to defend the American would have exactly the same reaction if it were a story about a Thai man doing exactly the same thing?

Doubt it.

Advertising themselves on dating site + having sex immediately with the guys they meet = hookers IMHO.

Plenty of women with respectable jobs hooking on the side in Thailand.

I think you missed the part where some of them actually married him. Gold diggers? maybe. Fishing for a Green Card? maybe. But prostitutes don't normally marry their clients. If anything it sounds like he was picking them based on them having a relatively high paying job and they were the ones who sponsored him, not the other way around.

A word has to be said about the women though - the guy is a walking red flag - why would an American "soldier" live in Thailand, be on a tourist visa, fly in and out all the time, and live in Bang Yai of all places. Even if there were no character indications at first just the weirdness of his living situation should've tipped them off something was not right. If a foreigner is living in the cheapest possible place they can find or immediately moving in with her then there's 0% chance he's really an American solider with decent income.

Sounds like the guy is traveling around making homemade "porn" without their consent and selling it. Hopefully they'll catch him and send him to jail for a very long time. The abuse is bad enough, but the videos will remain online essentially forever.
