A fight between members of a Phuket family has left one person dead and another seriously injured, according to a Phuket Express report.

The incident happened in Soi Mongkonsap in Wichit, in the Mueang district, yesterday, January 18. Wichit Police were notified of a disturbance and arrived on the scene, accompanied by rescue workers, to find the body of 63 year old Watcharin Kaewprasap.

Mr Watcharin had five stab and slash wounds on his body, with officers finding a blood-stained knife nearby. They also found 62 year old Pin Makkaew, who was covered in blood and had slash wounds to his neck. He was rushed to hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
