You do know that he won ONLY the Nevada democratic party primary in a close vote because he ran unopposed... right?

As usual,   you are wrong. Joe Biden took 89% in a crowded field.

Not "close" and not "unopposed".

The field was crowded with "none of these candidates" and a woman who pledged her support to joe but wanted to show some sort of opposition...

The Trump fans can't sense how this year is going to proceed. One hit after another on Trump's chances, as the Dems coalesce around Joe Biden.

If Biden wins, everyone knows he will depart after his 2nd term ends.

If Trump wins, he's going to try to be president for life. Everyone understands that, which is one of the reasons that Trump will lose.

In both their cases, if they even survive the next four years it would be a shock. "President for life" is the same as president for one term.  Unless you think Trump is some kind of cyborg superman, and not the fat lazy burger slurper as he is so often portrayedhere.

Amazing anyone supports this guy.

With 91 criminal charges brought against Donald Trump last year in four different cases and a looming verdict in a civil case that threatens his business empire, the former president must contend with both the campaign trail and the courtroom in a way that’s never been seen in American politics.

Pitch that to the American public and see how it flies.  The polls suggest it is not a winning strategy. With housing and food costs both up in the neighborhood of 30% under Biden, the economic argument is not going anywhere.

Sadly. The American public isn't that smart. Look at all the fake news they fall for.

Fact. Trump is fat. But definitely not lazy. Definitely a grifter.

If the Democrats had nominated almost anyone except Biden (and perhaps Harris), the race wouldn't be close. Sad to say but true- Gov. Newsom would have kicked Trump's ass in an election.

GOP is the same. Almost anyone but Trump would easily have beaten Biden.  But instead we get Jurassic Election.

Feels a lot like your getting the big boot, sort of?

Quick question. If it's such a dream life why is he such an incredibly miserable man? He wakes up in the morning trying to figure out who he can hate, what battles he can wage, and how he can display his misery in an ostentatious fashion.

That's just who the man is, and it doesn't look like much fun to me. I would not want to be Don Don.

Prove you are in the room when he wakes up to know that.

I don't think he is miserable. If he is a narcissist as so many of your side claim, he must be lovin' the media attention.

Also, he gets to laugh at all the Trump haters with TDS melting down at everything he says. He could say that he has the power to levitate to the moon and likely he's get the inevitable reaction of those that take everything he says as evidence he is in league with Satan.

IMO they support him BECAUSE he has 91 court cases against him. His supporters are not so dumb they can't see a weaponised judicial system when it's so blatant.

Had the Dems not tried to use the courts to destroy him, likely he'd never have got any support beyond his base, and gone away long ago.

IMO they need Trump as Biden wouldn't last 5 minutes against a competent politician ( even in in his own party ), as they think only Biden can beat Trump.

Just the 40?

Gong back to the Reagan administration when he planted the idea that deficits don't matter among Republicans.  Peace time deficits have gone up dramatically since then, except during the Clinton administration.

How far back do you want to go?  Or are you just diverting to hide you ignorance of the subject?

Sure that's capitalism. Whatever happens there are always winners and losers. Many Americans will be and will feel much richer under Biden and many will not. It depends on their individual situation. During the great depression most suffered but some were in a position to create great fortunes. All presidents deal with these kinds of complex contradictions.

I understand most Average Joes vote based on personal economic perceptions.

In this election that's particularly unfortunate.

In Trump we have a monster intent on blowing up American democracy to replace it with a president for life cult of personality fascist dictatorship.

Many magas understand that and want that. They are the opposite of patriotic Americans.

Consumer Confidence is improving, it's at its highest level in two years.  https://apnews.com/article/consumer-confidence-conference-board-spending-economy-ce87c4fed6f18ac92b0d915e7af7e828

People's attitudes always take time to adjust to a new reality, even when the new reality is a strong economy.

Those kinds of studies are such nonsense, such fiction. I have a retail business in the US. I know many who are business people, real estate developers, etc. All say the same thing. Consumers are scared, they are timid, they are NOT buying. Do not believe the nonsense.
