after 4 Years in Germany, I plan to visit Thailand in August for 4 Weeks -

and 2 Weeks ( 15 to 31 of August ) we ( 4 Adults and 1 Child 10 Y. o. )

would like to spend in Phuket - driving all the Way down from Bangkok

with a Car

 

Of course, I can find some Places with Pool to stay in the Internet -

but maybe I can get some interesting Recommendations with your Help

 

We do not need Luxury - nor are we looking for a super-cheap Place to stay

 

It could be anything:

a nice Hotel, 2 Bungalows in a lovely Resort or a private House with Pool

 

As we have a Car, we do not need to stay in a walking Distance to any Beach on Phuket

 

It would be very kind of you, to post your Recommendation or to send me a PM

That's a long piece of string.  Most hotels will consider a 10 yr, an adult.  Some may or may not charge adult fee for extra bed.  

 

August is a bit too far away to give an accurate price, unless you actually want to book something.  Booking.com will take booking for August.  I'm not a fan of paying in advance.  

 

You can at least get some ballpark ideas of price from booking.com for August.  Which is still off / rainy / low season, so surf will probably be red flagged.

Sunwing Kamala, ( note August sea is rough) beachfront, walking to many restaurants, shopping and 3x/week night market nearby.... 15minutes to Patong for a night out

Super cheap, nice hotel and lovely resort are not compatible.

August is rainy season on Phuket. With a car I'd probably skip Phuket and do lake and jungle experience at the national park in Khao Sok. Then head over to Khanom beach. Along the way Prachuap, Ban Krut and Bang Saphan.

 

 

Take a look through Airbnb I guess not to busy that time of the year,
