My understanding from everything I've read about it is that his hands were tied, everything had already been said in motion by the ignoramus, and there wasn't much he could have done. I wonder.

The level alof abandonment of those translators was pathetic and shameful.

From what altar of facts did you gain your "understanding"? He could have done it far better.

He did delay it - and then screwed it up anyway.

The amazing thing is that people would still vote for Biden, an obviously incompetent and mentally impaired president. They can't care much about the USA putting party loyalty before common sense.

Agreed 100%.

Never underestimate the stupidity and ignorance of the American electorate.

Yep.

A far right wing nut job.

Presented as something to take seriously. Weird.

Douglas Murray (author) - Wikipedia

Utter nonsense, Murray is one of the foremost commentators defending Israel. The left label anyone they do not agree with as 'far right' it's getting absurd. 'Far right' Douglas speaking at a London Synagogue after Oct 7th. He's a very decent human being.

Astonishing just how many of your posters respond to a piece critical of Biden by bringjng Trump into the discussion. TDS personified.

That’s an easy one the abyss is trump wholly trump the border mess now belongs to trump the afghan debacle much of it lays at trump’s feet for poisoning the well the hardships facing the heroic Ukrainian people your trump enabled Putin continues to do so and the vacuum that is trumps soul continues to block aid to Ukraine as the debth of the emptiness that is trumps soul (the constant titillating scandals)the fraud the pornstar ect ect distract the Media when they should be focusing on and calling out the assaults on American principles at the hands of trump and the empty vacuum that he is

And now Wikipedia is a credible source.

In terms of media there is no credible, honest, unbiased news source.

Being critical is ok. This was one person's opinion and as stated above, it's a hit piece. Not worth the read.

So instead of reading anything else except your opinion is "not worth the read"... yes a tried and true democrat in action... 555555

P.S I did read it. Thus my comment.

so you are truly altruistic... you are the last resort on what is and what isn't good for others... you may be more of a democrat than you know... still in the closet.

It would be interesting to know for sure.

Know what for sure? If none of this would have happened if Trump were still president? If Trump could  have solved everything by just making a few phone calls? Dream on…

I agree that Biden's leadership has caused a deterioration of the US's place in the world. Their endless hypocrisy, badmouthing other nations while doing the exact same things eg spying US faux outrage at China spying, when the US are the biggest spies in the world even spying their allies; banging on about democracy and then regime changing democratic regimes they don't care for; banging on about sovereignty and then invading Iraw and occupying large swathes of Syria and stealing their oil; etc etc.

I for one see BRICS as the only possible salvation for the world. The US's endless warmongering and initiation of illegal wars is no way forward for the world. The US props up a vile regime in Israel, a regime bent on murder and the US are complicit in the potential genocide there....does anyone seriously think that the US fools anyone by uttering words of restraint and then supplying 2000lb bombs to be dropped in densely populated areas, killing hundreds? No, they have been rumbled and I, for one, and so glad that South Africa ignored the US's threats of economic coercion and brought the truth to the world via the ICJ.

As for Iran, another nation demonised by the UDS and subject to brutal sanctions for decades....they are only doing what the the US is doing in Ukraine using proxies to fight their wars, so why can they not pursue their global interests while the US goes around the world rampant, killing millions, vis their own troops or proxies.

And spare me the 'free' world vs the unfree diatribe. It';s iOS nonsense I left the US because no one is free, everyone os kept in an incomprehensible web of laws so that everyone tis at risk of going to jail or worse, if the government doesn't like what they are doing. And it is over-policed by a brutal militarised police force that guns black men down at traffic stops, and over surveilled by an out of control "intelligence" system that spies on everyone in the world. The US, a beacon for the world? I don't think so, it stopped being a beacon decades ago when the rule of law ceased there, and became an authoritarian wildfire.
