According to eyewitness Mr. Sathitpong Dapanom, 33, the sedan was traveling towards the intersection when it allegedly disregarded the red light and collided with the pickup truck entering from the parallel motorway lane headed towards Laem Chabang Port. The impact caused the sedan to flip, resulting in the two casualties and multiple injuries

I know that intersection well.

It is not clear if the sedan ran the red light turning left, which nearly all drivers do, and what I suspect it did.
