Why are the current updated vaccines still only FDA approved and authorized as for emergency use ?

Are recipients still being used in a global test laboratory ?

The mRna  vaccine research started with Ebola but to this day has never been adopted for use for that very lethal disease.

I am content with the fact I received an alternative vaccine to mRna .

So you managed to dig up a right-wing anti-vax, anti-face masks academic from Stanford.  You can see what other scientists think of his opinions:

They're not what you claim above, but rather:

 

"As of September 2023, the updated COVID-19 vaccine formulations produced by Moderna and Pfizer are fully approved for use as a single dose for people ages 12 and up, and have emergency use authorization for use in children 6 months through 11 years old."

We’ll know in about ten years, just about the time frame we figure out the dangers of most other vaccines
